3 Weeks Pregnant

Anonymous Author (November 2007)

Most women do not even realise that they are pregnent at this stage or are just finding out that they are pregnant.

You may have confirmed your pregnancy by at Home Test, If you have done this you will need to book into see your doctor to confirm your

pregnancy and set up your antenatal care.

Tecnically this is the first week you are actually pregnant and this is the first week that your baby will develope!

The first of the babies body segments will appear and it is about the size of a pin head, or 0.006 inces long. Your placenta has grown to cover one-fifteenth of the uterine interior.

You may start to experience morning sickness now, eating dry crackers or toast first thing in the morning will help ease this, as will eating smaller more frequent meals. You may also have slightly tender breasts.

It is very important to look after your self by maintaining a healthy diet and life-style as you are now supporting a little life inside of you.

Only 37 weeks to go.....

Re: 3 Weeks Pregnant

Very Cute :o)  at 10 weeks, the tiny feet are formed and are about 1/2-3/4" long...yup with little toes too!  Would just like to offer one thing I was told in addition to taking a really good pre-natal vitamin, it is also very important to make sure your teeth are in good condition, and that you drink lots of water as well.  The water will help to process anything you eat, in addition to light head, nausa, and dehydration.  Just don't chew on ice cubes as this will wreak havoc on your teeth..chips off enamel.

On the other side of pregnancy, as I read in some of your other articles, very conscientious about the other aspect of unsuspected pregnancy or unable to go through with pregnancy.  Not easy to do, or easy to write, but good for you to have the mind set that this is important to get the information out, and have a method to obtain help if needed!

Ah.......the wonders of children...the days are eternal and the years fly by........

Take care!  Simba1

Re: 3 Weeks Pregnant
Great article! I thought I was pregnant both times at this stage - a bit dizzy and sicky. The first pregnancy was confirmed at 5 weeks with a home test but the second I got 3 negative results before I got a positive!
