You are now entering the second month and have most likley just found out you are pregnant! You will need to book a time to see your doctor to confirm your pregnancy and discuss any questions you may have and organise ante-natal care. If the pregnancy is not planned you
can seek advice and help throught your local family planning service or you doctor.
Pregnancy sympoms continue or start this weeks with morning sickness, tender breasts, urinary frequency and fatigue. Try to eat as healthy as possible as the embryo need all the nutrients and vitamins it can get.
The embryo's heart will now start to pump blood around its little body and the limbs will appear like little buds. The embryo is usually abour half a centermetre long and resembles a tadpole.
Try to avoide caffien as it can slow down the development of the embryo and drink plenty of water as your body is hard at work making a baby.
