While I was at work the other day a teacher approached me begging for the words to a particluar song for her to teach the children. She had one in mind but could not remember the words but knew I would because she says I know all the cute little 
kids songs. Then I rememberd that someone had asked a question on minti a couple of weeks ago begging for some fingerplay songs with motions.
Well, I do know quite a few good songs and there are motions for all of them but I think everyone will have to come up with their own because I can't show you the actions but can give you the songs.
Here goes some songs that have been very popular with my children and at the school over the years.

I caught myself a baby bumble bee, wont my mother be so proud of me, I caught myself a baby bummble bee. OUCH! It stung me.

A peanut sat on a railroad track his heart was all a flutter, round the bend came number 10, toot toot, peanut butter, smash!
Five little hot dogs frying in the pan the grease got hot and one went bang! Four little hotdogs frying in the pan, the grease got hot and one went bam!..............(on and on till there are no more hot dogs in the pretend pan)
3 little monkey sitting in the tree, teasing mister alligator, can't catch me, along came the alligator quiet as can be and SNAP! 2 little monkey sitting in the tree, teasing mister alligator, can;t catch me, along came the alligator quiet as can be and SNAP! (on and on till there are no more monkey in the tree)
5 little ducks went out to play, over the hill and far away, the mommy duck said quack quack quack, and four little ducks came running back. 4 little ducks went out to play over the hills and far away, mommy duck said quack quack quack, and 3 little ducks came running back. ( go till there are is one duck out to play and then replace the mommy duck with a big daddy duck voice that is loud and clap hands. The Daddy duck said QUACK QUACK QUACK and 5 little duck came running fast!)
5 little monkeys jumping on the bed, one fell off and bumped his head, mamma called the doctor and the doctor said, no more monkeys jumping on the bed. 4 little monkeys jumping on the bed, one fell off and bumped his head.........................................................(at the end when all the monkey have fallen off the bed the docotr then says, thats what you get for jumping on the bed!)

5 little ducks that I once knew, fat ones skinny ones tall ones too, but the one little duck with the feather on his back, he led the others with a quack quack quack, Down to the river they would go weeble wobble weeble wobble they would go but the one little duck with the feather on his back he lead the others with a quack quack quack.
There were 10 in the bed and the little one said, roll over roll over, so they all rolled over and one fell out, there 9 in the bed and the little one said, roll over roll over, so they all rolled over and one fell out, there were 8 in the bed and the little one said.................................................................ect. ect........
peanut, peanut butter and jelly, first you take the peanuts and you smash them you smash them smash them to make, peanut, peanut butter and jelly, then you take the grapes and you sqish them you squish them to make peanut, peanut butter and jelly, then you take the bread and you spread it you spead it you spread it, to make peanut, peanut butter, and jelly, then you take the sandwich and you munch it you munch it. you munch munch munch it!
3 green and speckled frogs sitting on a speckled log, eating the most delicious worms, YUM YUM, one jum,ped into the pool, where it was nice and cool, now there are 2 green speckled frogs. 2 green and speckled frogs sitting on a speckled log eating the most.................................................(on and on)
Someone stole the cookies from the cookie jar (point to one child) who me? YEs you? couldn't be! Then who? Kelly stole the cookies from the cookie jar, who me? yes you? couldn't be. then who? Mike stole the cookies from the cookie jar.......................................................................(on and on till everyone's names have been used)
I have a lot more songs and fingerplays but I am only giving you the ones that the children seem to like the best! I dont know who ever created these songs but I have learned them over my childrehood and adult years. I am sure if you are wanting more there are resources out there. I also have fingerplay ones for hollidays and such. Any number can be used when counting backwards in the songs.
You dont have to have a good voice to sing with the children just the spirit to have fun and to be loud and quite. Some songs we sing very fast and some we sing very slow. Some songs they love very loud and some songs we sing very quietly. It always seems to get everyone's attention and then all seem to join in and sing.
Just have fun and smile! Remember, a smile a day keeps the clouds away!
