Not long after you have your or more childern watch out foe the oldest child ways of get your a tenison .That do or most any thing to start weting them self again by dont that there have your atention.playing up at tea time .There real fight for love they dont understand you still love the same as be fore but you have to do things with the new baby at times .Get then to be involed with getting to get you a nappy for the baby help in way with bathing .Let them hold the baby with your help get then to kiss and cute the baby .Try any thing you can so you and show you still love him the same .When the bay a sleep make your play time with the older child .

It's good advice. I don't realy remember my brother as a baby, but Mom said she envolved me as much as possible, she used to pretend she had fogoten somthing so I would have to remind her so I felt important,  She also brought me a set of twins so I had babys to look after aswell.  Bed time or baby's nap time is a good time for quality time with the aldest. We sort of missed this settling in stage as Antony was 8 when Sirah came to live with us,( She is adopted ) so it was easer to explain things to him

Yes you are right, you must show them that you still love them and they are still a big part of your life and the new borns life.  Giving the some responsibilty with the helping of the other sibling and making sure they get equal quality time the mum.
