Our little family has increased by one this week with the addition of another little boy. He is now 3 days old and we have been told he has down syndrome. We love him and
are not shattered or upset about this diagnosis. We will take each day as it comes (as we would with any other child). This diagnosis has come out of the blue as we had no tests done (i am only 24). Just wondering if there are any othe parents on minti in the same situation. Not yet after advice just a connection at the moment. Is there a group to join on minti.
My Advice:
first may i say congradulations on the birth of your special little boy i am a mum of five boys my youngest cody is 4yo and has down syndrome like you we didn't know and it makes no diffrence to us we adore him i would realy like to keep in touch with you through minti i am new to this it is allways good to have someone to talk i can tell you to relax rest and enjoy your little man there is plenty of time to find out the things that you will want to know , you have a great attitude and anytime feel free to drop me a line i would love to have someone to chat with regards mumofive
