MAKE AN "ALLERGY RESTAURANTS BOOK" - for anaphylaxis kids and adults |

Having a child when going out (out of your home) is always a worry when it comes to "where and what are we going to eat"but when you have an anaphylaxis child - it is even worst. Basically anaphylaxis kids and adults are advised not to eat outside,
unless they totally trust the source of food. This is why we have an "allergy restaurant book" in our car. This folder/book contains all the restaurants/fast foods places we CAN go and eat, if we really need or want. The choice is not big, but it's good to know that some restaurants do care about
anaphylaxis people.
Here are the links to download and print the allergy table from these restaurants in Australia:
RED ROOSTER - www.redrooster.com.au/pdfs/Red%20Rooster%20Ingredient%20&%20Allergen%20Information%20November%20%202007.pdf
McDonalds - go to www.mcdonalds.com.au/ choose "broadband"or "dial up", and once the site comes up, choose ""nutrition"and then "Nutrition resources"where you'll find the allergen information. If I can add, I found Mac's a great help when we're "stuck"with no food while travelling. I know allot of people think of them as "junk food"but i respect them for respecting those who have allergy problems.
DOMINO'S PIZZA - www.dominos.com.au/_uploads/309_Allergen_Listing_Feb7_08.pdf
KFC - www.kfc.com.au/files/KFCFoodFactSheet_27112006.pdf
Don't forget to update your allergen lists - check at least every month if the web site changed things (you can usually see the date the put at the bottom or top of the list).
This list can also be helpful when you decide to invite people over and want to have "take away"instead of cooking.
If you know more web sites that have allergy lists for their restaurants - please add them here. Thanks.
