My Advice:

GOLD CROSS ANHYDROUS LANOLIN (WOOL FAT BP)

Available from the Chemist. Yes it is sticky, but its the purest, cheapest and most effective product for any skin condition.  It has been used by grandmothers for years but you don't often see it advertised as their is not much money to be made out of selling sucha  pure ingredient.  You must make sure it is in its purest form however as many ingredients added to baby products are in fact irritants - even if the product says its suitable for sensitive skin!!  Also it needs to be from sheep that haven't been sprayed/ dipped.

It works great as a preventative measure or to soothe.  Unlike other barrier creams it allows the skin to breathe and is actually "absorbed" somehow, whilst being a barrier cream - not sure whether I explained that correctly.

Lansinoh is also more commercially available but is 3x the price for being ins a squeeze tube instead of a glass tub.  But the glass tubs are great as you can re-use them for other things!

EGG WHITE - more info soon
