FROM INSIDE THE WOMB WEEK TO WEEK

tassiebiarch by tassiebiarch Talking(April 2008) (rank 500+)

Week to Week Pregnancy Guide

Every week I couldn’t wait to get my pregnancy books out and find out what stage my baby is up to: I thought I would post it on minti for new mothers and mothers who haven’t seen these so they can get

excited just as I did.

I will go from week 6 – 10 then I will go fortnightly makes it more exciting.

Week 6……Exciting, Mummy this is where I develop, I develop my vital organs. My heart begins to beat and pumps blood around my body for survival. And I have these little growths on my body they appear to be my legs and arms.

Week 7……I am still very small the size of a grain of rice yes that small. Last week my arms and legs were developing well they still are but very slowly I have no fingers or toes yet but I am getting there. My brain is growing hopefully like yours mummy xx the lenses of my eyes my nostrils and pancreas are developing too can’t wait to update you next week mummy.

Week 8……Well mummy am I excited have eyes I can see well sought of I am starting to form arms and these things called fingers.My legs are growing yippee am I going to be a ballerina or a footy player aren’t you excited to know what I am….I have ears now I can’t hear as yet but I can’t wait to hear your voice.. I have a nose yes I can sought of smell… I have a sore mouth apparently I have teeth growing inside my gums I need bonjella …talk next week mum

Week 9……Hello mum there isn’t much change this week but a little to get you excited. I have a sore body I have these things called bones and cartilage growing I think later in life they call it growing pains. I can see a little better this week, as time goes by I am sure I will see a lot clearer in here.

Week 10……Well mum have I been having fun this week I can move around you can’t feel me yet as I am still very small but am I having fun….I have lots to tell you this week I have developed 9 things yes 9 things within 7 days I have are you ready elbows, wrist, knee, shoulders, ankles, hands, fingers, feet and toes it’s like Christmas in here 9 presents luv you mum

Week 12……Hey mum I am going to only check in fortnightly now as so much happens now this is where I begin to grow really fast and I get to tired to check in weekly. I have something forming in between my legs I am scared I hope this is normal everything else makes sense but this. I have fluid coming out down ther as well Can’t give you any hints as yet on what shape is forming down there I am sure you will find out soon. I have hair on my head I am starting to look cute mum..

Week 14…… hi again mummy well my genitals have grown but I am not telling you and you can’t find out yet but soon you can. Have you heard my heart beat yet you should be able to hear it now? It won’t be loud but sometimes they can pick it up.

Week 16…… Knock Knock Knock can you feel me mummy I am kicking you don’t panic if you can’t feel me I will get stronger. Hey mum did you know I can suck my thumb it’s so soothing I find it hard to go to sleep with all these growing pains so out comes my thumb. I have so much more room in here now I love it, not as much as I will love seeing you.

Week 18……well am I growing yes so fast this fortnight I am getting excited? I can suck swallow and blink I have learnt so much. Mum I pooped for the first time this week and was I scared no one cleaned it up you will help me then show me when I get older will ya mum.

Week 20……yippee half way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sleeping as bit now mummy, with all this growing I am so tired not much has happened just that I can finally rest I will tell you more next fortnight.

Week 22…… Hey mum I am not as tired this fortnight as I have started to slow down in my growing not much again has grown this fortnight I have eye brows and eyelids that’s pretty exciting all this hair that is on my body that’s scary but I am sure it’s there for a purpose.

Week 24…… Hey mum a bit of knowledge for you if I was born now I have a chance of survival but let’s hope I stay in here for a bit longer as I find it nice and cozy in hear at the moment. I have grown a bit this week I am getting muscles yes muscles like dad has.

Week 26…… Not much this fortnight only that my lungs are formed properly I can feel them moving when I breathe. I have grown a little 2, geez I am becoming a big person now. Not long till I come mummy hang in there here is a poem for you to keep you excited to see me and to share at your baby shower.

With tiny hands and tiny feet

I hope that very soon we'll meet

I hope that you will stay a while

And make my mommy (and daddy) smile.

Although I can't be there today

There's something sweet that I'd like to share,

Thank you for your gifts and wishes

Please help mommy with the dishes.

And enjoy this wonderful cake!

Week 28……Heeeelllloooooo out there. Mum I can hear you I am so excited your voice is beautiful. Well done mum you have finished the 2nd trimester. A little has happened this fortnight my brain has developed a little more and so have my lungs. It’s a lot slower than how I was growing in the first trimester but hey it’s all exciting because I get to tell you what’s happening in here. I can hear my mum. I can hear my mum.

Week 30…… 10 weeks to go and I am out of here won’t take long mummy the longer I am in hear the better. I know you are sick of it I can hear you now but just think of me and my need to stay in here. I can taste and smell as well now mummy, these fortnights are just getting better and better.

Week 32……Everything this fortnight is just developing big, better and stronger. I have more hair yes you will need to get it cut. How’s the heart burn mum sorry. Not long now mummy see ya soon. Your baby!!!

Week 34…..Geez mum I am running out of room in here not much left. I scratched myself today my fingernails are long you may need to slip them straightaway when I get out .oh mum it’s so exciting I can’t wait.

Week 36……Hey mum just pre warning you this fortnight I could give you a little pain down below as I am that excited I am going to get myself ready in the birth canal I can finally start moving down see ya soon mummy.

Week 38……Oh mum I cannot move in here it’s to small I so want to come out and meet you I have put on so much weight this fortnight I am a big baby now wait till you see me… 2 weeks to go yippee yippee yippee love you mummy

Week 40……Well I am ready I am cooked enough I will be out within the next couple of days I can’t pre warn you I will just come…sorry that you might be in pain but its pain of love. See ya in the next couple of days. Thank you mummy for sharing my experience inside the womb bye See you in the real world.

My Arrival

GOD made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine,
And He molded her heart of pure gold;
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,
In her cheeks, fair roses you see;
God made a wonderful mother,
And He gave that dear mother to me.

LOVE YOU MUMMY

How sweet!  I like the way you have written this.  I'm at the 28(ish) week mark and I know my Puggle can hear me, moves around a lot when I talk gently to it.
