M still struggling with PUPPS..even after the delivery!

nicoleandnalyssa by nicoleandnalyssa Standing(April 29th) (rank 500+)

I got it on my 36 1/2 weeks pregnancy, had no idea what was it starting as a tiny red bumps and fastly spread from my belly to my arm, leg, palm, feet, and back.Went to the doctor and she said it's just the stretch mark with hormones skin expanding that's why it can

become like this.I knew it was something far worse than just a stretch mark.I look through the internet and found out about this PUPPS and print out the info to show to the doctor on my next appointment, she then confirmed me with pregnancy rash, and prescribe me with betnovate cream to apply, and piriton for orally, that's all she can best do,said it will only go away after the delivery. As days goes by, the rash becoming more crazily itchy especially in the nite time.I only managed to catch 2 hours sleeps in total.I tried lot's of cream but no help at all.Only then i found out a routine to control the itch.Bath with cold water,no warm or hot water, avoid letting body heat,I turned on air cond 24/7,keep skin dry,(no moist, will trigger the itch),used iced water cloth wipes to keep the itch less.Come to nite time, where the itch starts to be unbearable,i used baking soda to paste the red itchy area of body, wait for bout 10 to 15 mins, then rinse off,it really helps a lot,can last up to 3 to 4 hours,or if i was too tired to wait up sometimes,i will just used the cold water to run on my skin until i feels it numbs off the itch.and pat dry with towel.Sleep without blanket.Wear loose cotton/satin/silk material garment.Cut finger nails short, less harmful to skin(scar). My leg was so badly scratch it look so horrible with tiny spot scar,

Well i managed to endure till my baby girl was out by 2 days before 40 weeks, yes it did really disappear mostly but unfortunately, i still feel the itch some places of my body, and still growing out some certain area of my body..it's been 3 weeks after i delivered her and this sick rash still sticks around!.i m now currently trying the dandelion root capsules and flaxseed oil capsules(1each 3x a day).HOpe it really helps to clear it away, as my skin now is so depress to look at.The old patch still remain there(light brown, when body is not heaty, but if body is in heat, the scar and patches turns red)and flaky dry,my tummy is fills with brown patch and stretch marks..not to keep reminding myself more now, i just hope these herbs really able to clear it away..if any of u out there have susccessfully got away with this PUPPs, please do share out,yea.. it would be million thanks..

Thanks for sharing this.  Sounds like this is something I experienced - but everyone played it down and I was working too hard to take time to do anything about it.

Peace
