This Sunday the 11th may is Mothers day, and not all are fortunate to have mega dollers to buy mum a laptop, to a luxury holiday away.. But Our children and partners do not need to feel guilty no more, with some tender loving thoughts to what we give and
recieve should be all that matters, and for some mums just knowing that our children and loved ones love us is enough..
But if you want to buy a present and save money, here are some ideas you can do at home or help your children at school, playgroup etc...
* A picture frame from a discount store or hardware store and have yourself or your children paint it, and find a picture and stick it in..
* A Scrapbook album with colourful borders, and again head to your local discount store or sometimes spotlight or any fabric stores have sales.
* Pen and Diary are always handy, and can fit in mums handbag..
* A heat pack with some massage oil
* Hot Chocolate powder and a lavender sachet to encourage sleep
* Bath salts and a lovely candle
* Shower gel, moisturiser and talc of the same scent
* A novel and some chocolates or biscuits
* A steering wheel cover and a bottle of car polish- as some mums love to keep their car looking shiny and clean when we can..
* Pot plant or seeds to plant in the garden...
* chocolate Truffles, or anzac biscuits in the love heat shapes..
* Gift Vouchers are handy at times, or a gift lotto can sometimes be cheap and handy as well- wouldnt it be nice if mum won loads of money and not feel like we have to have a money tree everyday..
* This gift does not need to cost money, but would be nice for all of us mums, and that is to not to have to clean the house for one day. have dinner cooked for us, to having a sleep in with breakfast in bed when we wake...
* Favourite poem wrote in a card is so nice and from the heart...
These are some great ideas above and if anyone has any other ideas please feel free to add. and hope that whatever all of the mums in the world recieve on sunday, remember one thing , its the love we recieve from our children/partners etc is priceless and counts for more then presents..
