We co slept and it is fine for some families.

All my kids (8,5 and 2.5) all sleep in their beds. Though our youngest often comes to our bed in the morning.

Co sleeping and breastfeeding go together very well for me.

Re: Hi this is just some advice i would like to give you all

Children do not take well to sudden change, so it is best to transition away from co-sleeping gradually in a way that serves to empower your child, as well as to keep their sense security. Disciplining/punishing a behavior that isn't necessarilly bad (your child wanting to return to your bed) may not be the best way to get this done. What happens if your child gets scared in the middle of the night and she wants to jump into your bed?

Kids love to be awarded for wat they have done so the besty bet is set up an award chart and every time they are good or bad award them with a star if good a cross if they are bad then a toy at the end of the week !!!

Welcome to minti and thankyou for being so enthusiastic in wanting to share your experiences as a parent with us. I am thinking though that this advice could be expanded on a bit, you know, how did bub end up sleeping in with you and how did you resolve the problem of getting bub, to sleep on their own. I have popped this link in as it might give you a few tips on writing advice and what you could do to get visitors to read your article. The best articles are from your own experience and have a good amount of info relating to the topic.

Thankyou for sharing. Luv Winnie.x

I really appreciate this information but you may like to put it in your blog and maybe edit this advice after you read some advice on how to write advice.  There are some good ones like  www.minti.com/parenting-advice/6225/Minti-Basics-Writing-Advice-for-the-first-time/.  Don't give up on writing advice though because people do really value other peoples opinions.
