You must be feeling pregnant now with stronger more defined movement from baby. It does depend though as all pregnancies and babies are different. My eldest child was not much of a kicker. She did like to stretch out, so much so, that you could see it on the
outside! My eldest son was the Bruce Lee of babies. Meanwhile this baby is quite active with flips and little kicks. I am enjoying that.
Baby is around 21cm from crown to rump (head to bottom) and weighs approximately 630grams. So there is some growing to be done but he/she is always growing and developing. I can feel that when my belly feels likes it is stretching across and my hunger increases.
Heartburn and pressure on your stomach may be an issue for you as baby takes up space. An advantage for me being tall, I think, its not an issue, though baby seems to be low with all the kicks I have been feeling and frequent urination. If you do experience heartburn, try to eat smaller more frequent meals and avoid spicy or fatty foods. Enjoy your food.
There is a myth that heartburn is caused by a full head of hair. See if this is true in 16 weeks. All my kids had thick hair at birth and I only had mild to no heartburn with them all. Was probably worse with my eldest son and he had the least amount of hair. He just had a big head!
