Baby's eyes are developing. The cells in the retina are growing rapidly.  Your baby will be aware of his senses as he will take note of your heartbeat, voice and movement.

After a baby is born, he will be most easily soothed by things that may remind them of

being in the womb such as rhythmic patting, gentle rocking and hearing your voice. I have become aware of the music I play and that when I speak with others especially with close famly, that baby is aware.

This  baby is very active. Not sure if he/she is more active than my other children or if I have the opportunities to notice it more. I can feel movement on the outside which means others can too if they get lucky!

Your dietary requirements increase as the baby needs fatty acids to grow senses in the eyes and nervous system. If you eat fish, try fish high in fatty acids and omega 3. Wholegrains and cold pressed oils also have fatty acids. Some fods are enriched but taste fishy to me!

Getting the best nutrition you can as well as gentle and regular exercise throughout your pregnancy, can benefit you now as well as after the  baby is born. Not only physically but emotionally as well.  As will having a positive supportive network of family and friends around you.
