Pickle (www.pickle.com) is a great new service for sharing your photo and video with friends and family. And it's free.
What I liked about it is the layout. It’s designed to work just like email which makes it really easy because most everyone
knows how to use email.
Some of the things you can do with Pickle are:
- Create a Picklebox, which is like an album, for an event or occasion and invite people to upload their photos and videos - sort of like share & share alike
- Send photos & videos to your account from your mobile phone
- Send Picklemails, which are like emails, and it compresses your photos and video so they don’t clog up the receipients inbox.
- The page to upload photos & video looks like an email inbox so people will feel comfortable using it.
- Post videos or photos to your blog
- Automatically resize your photos
If you have a blog and want to put photos or videos from Pickle, it can dynamically generate the code you need to include a group of photos or videos.
