My Advice:

Hi Lisa,

The fact you are only 20 and doing it alone, I am 31 and have a partner with a 19 month old boy and I struggle everyday! Caleb has always been a fractous child, he is always needy of my time and I am having to find things every five minutes to keep him entertained! Here are some ideas for you to perhaps try with your daughter! You can just take what you want from the ideas and ditch the ones you do not like! lol.

Going for walks in the pram or a bike (even for 10 minutes) is a great one for mum and bubs!

Water play, any form of water play with plastic toys or containers, food colouring in the water is a good one.

Wiggles, High five, Dora, Thomas, are a big saviour for me, I am a fond fan of Dvds I think the kids can learn music and dance and lots of educational things from these entertainers and programmes :).

Joining a coffee group or a playgroup a couple of days a week and actually go with your daughter, do you know at the same time you will meet other mums and build a friendship at the same time! :0 They do young mum groups too, well in Nz they do, I dont know what country you are from?

Dance and music is good

making musical instruments

music groups are good, in new zealand we have mainly music run by local churches, you do not have to be religious, i am not

hope some of these help you?

nat x
