Listen to your Doc!!!

Re: Recovery after a c-section
anonymous

Question:

I'm expecting my first little one in a few weeks and have a c-section booked due to complications. During my pregnancy i have managed to put on a lot of weight 30+ kgs ( was already 100kgs

when fell pregnant) and was planning to start losing it asap after bubs.

My question is how long after a c-section will it be safe to start exercising and dieting and how long does it usually take one to lose their pregnancy weight with or without sergery?

My Advice:

It is different for everyone. The protocol is 6 weeks. Listen to your Doc and don't over do it or you will be in recovery longer. Ask your Doc what you can do to get moving before 6 weeks. Remember it took 10 months to put on the weight so give yourself a year to loose it. And don't forget to enjoy that wonderful baby, they grow fast!! Peace & Love, Ri
