worried about miscarriage

Re: Worried about miscarriage

Question:

Hi all,

I am 6 weeks pregnant with my second child and am very worried because I've been having very light brownish p/pinkish vaginal discharge off and on for the past week.

I've also had some mild cramping my lower back mostly. I had non of this with my first pregnancy is this a sign of impending miscarriage?

My Advice:

is that yes you are in some kind of miscarriage process, what you need to do is to stay in bed with your feet up on a pillow for at least a week or two, try not to stress and don't do any heavy lifting or heavy household chores....have your husband or family and friends help out with your first child and cooking and cleaning until your doctor says is okay for you to return to your daily rutine....

May GOD bless you and your unborn baby.....

I would think you would have to see your doctor if this was happening! I dont think i could take the risk to sit and lie around and hope that things turn out fine... That is just my opinion.

When in doubt, best to phone the doctor.

I think that this advice is probably more of a comment, and perhaps it is a bit misleading.  There are many people who have the same experience, and go on to have healthy babies.  I hope that you have sought professional medical advice by now (cali29), and that you are taking it easy and hoping for the best.
