Stubborn Laundry Stains

Karen67 by Karen67 Speaking(August 2006) (rank 488th)

Recently I've gotten sick and tired of having to re-wash clothes to remove stains that "normal" stain removers are supposed to get out.

So, I thought I would ask a expert. Forget those advise lines on the back of the wash products, I went to see my local

dry-cleaner. After a chat I bought  some special "spotter fluid" (don't forget to take a small bottle to put it in). For the same price as my normal stain remover I got a small bottle of fluid that removed everything. It is even colour safe! It also makes a great stain remover on my carpet, and one small bottle has lasted three times as long as any other product I've tried!

stain remover
I've used Mountain Green's Baby laundry detergent.  It is amazing at getting out stains.  I've gotten blueberries out of cotton and red wine out of white linen.  I use it as a pre-treater, and it even cleans my 11 year olds socks!

Oxy

Have you heard of oxy before? If so, they have oxy baby that you can use and it's safe on their delicate clothes. I just thought that I would give you that tip. My aunt used it, and she told me to get it and it works great!! I also use oxy myself and i love how it works on my clothes..

i hope this helps you.. You can find it at a walmart(if you are fimilar with the name) and i'm sure at any other store you can find it at :)

Did the dry cleaner charge you much?
How much did you have to pay for the "spotter fluid" and do you think most dry cleaners would be friendly enough to sell it to you?
