ive been discussing with a friend how i would love to see some more advices on here written from life experiences.
i often read peoples blogs and wish they would write an advice on how they dealt with the things they have, not the textbook stuff, i can find
that anywhere i want to hear how THEY did it, how they dealt with things, how they felt...
when something happens to my baby i want to hear if it has happened to someone else and i often do in Q and A but not in the advice section?
the things i find most comforting on minti is when something happens to my kids that id like to find out more about i find an article that someone has written from their own experience, what advice they were given, how that worked, any complications and the outcome good or bad because it gives me something to go with.
insight into other peoples problems can be very helpful and calming, it can also give you a clearer understanding on how to deal with your own problem or how not to deal with it.
an advice about diseases or complications that a person has suffered through or had their children suffer that can be prevented spreads awareness and understanding and can quite possibly save lives because someone who is about to do that same thing or wouldnt normally notice can be given the information they need to check things out furthur or avoid it altogether if possible.
ok so this isnt great advice! haha
my advice is to open up to the minti community and share some of your own experiences from your heart.
also, take a look around you and look at the members online and ask yourself what you would REALLY like to hear about from them and what they have shared in their blogs and Q and A then perhaps ask them if they could share their story? they might not know that someone would be interested in hearing about it....
