Now full term your baby's organs are fully formed. Your baby will spend the rest of its time in the womb getting fatter and forming suffacant in the lungs to help take his first breaths. 34cm from the crown to rump and may weigh around 2900g.
Tiredness is
common as its harder to get into comfortable sleeping positions. Try to keep a balance between gentle exercise and the need to rest. This is a good time to think about ways you can make life a little easier after your baby arrives.
If you can shop in bulk for non-perishable groceries and think of creative ways in which you can reduce unnecessary tasks and commitments for a while. You can plan to have easy healthy meals now and even freeze a few. Taking care of yourself and your new baby will be top priority in the coming months. I am planning a babymoon - where I give myself and baby a week to bond and time to just to rest in bed. This means all other household tasks take a rest too. Make things easy on yourself especially in the initial first days.
Baby massage is a useful skill to learn now . Massage using a mild, unperfumed cold pressed oil may later be a pleasant way of soothing your baby and help with bonding.
