Like all the parents, I’m always driving myself crazy in planning the perfect Halloween party for my kids. And I learned a lot from countless Halloween party ideas for kids from my friends and co-workers.
Below are the most creative tips for any theme based child Halloween party.
First, let's talk about the frightfully fun for the whole group.
Pin the Face on the Pumpkin is a happy Halloween twist on a party favorite, creating a well-loved kid Halloween party game! Begin with a jack-o-lantern made from construction paper. Use orange to create the pumpkin, add black cutouts for the eyes, nose, and mouth, and use green for the stem. Once you've made one for the wall, cut extra pieces to "pin" onto the pumpkin. Blindfold kids one by one and see who can get the pieces closest to the original spots on the wall.
Here's a Halloween scavenger hunt idea that is great for young children.
Engage their sense of discovery and their self awareness with this creative idea – all you'll need is a digital camera and the ability to print photos during your party! First take pictures of each child – in costume – as they arrive. Once you have pictures, print them and put them in plain envelopes. Allow each child to choose an envelope, and then challenge him or her to find the guest pictured. A pint-sized "scavenger" hunt is as easy as that!
My favoriest Halloween party ideas for kids of all time:

Halloween Party Foods for Kids
If you're making a main meal, I suggest green baked ziti. You can buy green noodles at any supermarket. Just be sure to set a few cups of cooked noodles aside and after you put the ziti together mash up the remaining green noodles and place them on the top. It is gross looking but tasty and a nice addition to the Halloween party food.
Don't forget the candy! There isn't much you can do to candy so. You need to create a unique way to serve the candy. My personal favorite is placing the candy in a couple of large pans with lids. In one pan you put the candy at the bottom of the pan and a pop out hand on top of it. When the lid is lifted the hand pops out! Also you could try a no peek candy grabbing pan if they want candy they can't look in the pan. Place some cold oatmeal in a pan and let them try and find the candy of course there won't be any in there, but after they clean up be sure to give the brave ones a large size candy bar for their troubles.
