Question:

What causes UTI's ? i keep waking with that feeling of needind to pee, but nothing happens when i try to go and theres a burning sensation... and i havent had s ex or anything

to cause it... its very painful. im taking ural but its not helping.

any ideas?

My Advice:
UTI's are very painful and can vary in their nature from person to person.  I have suffered from them all my life and I completely sympathise with you.  You don't need to have had sex to get one.  Some woman are just more susceptible than others.  I will get one if I don't drink enough water over a few days and allow myself to get mildly dehydrated.  I always do all the right things like not using soap down there, wiping front to back and wearing only cotton underwear.  It seems I am just susceptible.  If you have not seen your Doctor you need too.  He will order a midstream urine test and then give you a course of antibiotic therapy to start immediately.  Make sure you do the test BEFORE you start the antibiotics.  The test will let you know if the antibiotics the Dr. has ordered are appropriate for the causative organism or whether you need to change them.  Stay on the ural while you have symptoms and also go and get some cranberry tablets. Cranberry lines the urinary tract and makes it harder for bacteria to attach itself to the walls thus preventing the infection from taking hold.  It is safe to stay on cranberry indefinitely which I do, and so far I have not had any further problems. DRINK, DRINK, DRINK, water.  Avoid alcohol and caffiene drinks as they are stimulants and also dehydrating.  They will worsen your symptoms. My doctor now writes me an order for the urine test and supplies me with a script for antibiotics which I keep at home.  When i get symptoms (which is always at night or on days that the doctor is not open)  I can attend the urine test and start the antibiotics immediately as my symptoms go from a sensation to horrendous in a matter of hours.  It has taken many doctors and years to get to this,  No-one understands the frustration and discomfort of a UTI unless they have had one.  I am a nurse and this is not just my opinion but one that has been stated to me by my clients also.  If you keep getting them you will need to have the cause investigated further by a urologist.  But for now a visit to the doctor should be enough.  Good Luck.
