STAPHACOCCAL AUREOUS everyone has it!!

mellay by mellay Standing(September 2008) (rank 500+)

My children have suffered staph aureous infection (boils) for a year now.my 7year old has had seven courses of antibiotics and my 10year old- 3 courses.the doctors cannot and will not give any more as the antibiotics used are very strong for kids this age.now my 2 year old has

the boils.I am at wits end.I am washing bed linen, blankets, towels everyday plus trying to keep up with the regular washing( LG washing machines they just keep going!) . i live in a cold climate south western australia and most days is not weather permitting for all this washing! i spray bleach everywhere (beds & lounges)and then vacuum twice a day.

There is no other way to stop this apart from extra cleanliness and extra vacuuming as the staph is on everyones skin cells and in our noses and is there all the time.to get the boils they DO NOT know what causes this, just that something upsets the bug to react resulting in the boils. To treat it all you can do is wash in a surgical scrub called chlorhexadine.then just wait till the infection peiters out .we shed millions of skin cells every day.the staph is every where and of course it's micro scopic.I am also using Melalueca oil and topical calloidal silver.if you get them with theses as soon as red dot appears you can stop it in it's track before the boils becomes viscious.there are many strains of the aureous staph infections and most are resistant to anti biotics, some are also known as golden staph.it is highly contagious.boils can sometimes be a sign of iron defficiantcy (aneamia)and diabetes.our family has not either of these.my kids are at risk of septisemia.

I am trying to keep up and build up the kids immune system to be able to help fight off the infection.I have used the calloidal silver (drinking form)for 3 weeks now and the boils  seem to be smaller.this actually gets in the blood stream and cleans the blood.i have posted a question and i have had a few answers/suggestions to try.

I am so frustrated and so upset as my older two kids are scarred horrifically from this and the doctors know nothing.my 2 year old is getting them on his face i feel POWERLESS and some days when a new boil has errupted iam reduced to tears seeing my babies in so much pain and knowing it will scar, not one comes up between 10-20 come up.i just wish to be able to do more. All i have been told and advised this is my summary of this  disease.

Re: STAPHACOCCAL AUREOUS everyone has it!!

that is so sad ::( not sure if this is useful or not but i just looked this one up in a couple of spots.... apparently polyester based fabrics caused problems for some American hospitals.  the tests done indicated that it could survive on them for up to three months in a dry environment. might be worth checking through your linnen including things that cant be washed as often such as curtains and floor coverings and asking the doc about it. hope this helps ::)'s

You poor souls, what a situation to be trapped in, I feel for you all. I know this may sound silly, but have your Doctors been in touch with the Centre for Disease Control? Have they established which strain your bubs have? I know it is a long shot, but my Father was recently treated for MRSA and VRSA resistant strains, with child appropriate doses, due to his being very ill with cancer, and only weighing in at 6 stone. The new drugs sent by the CDC worked!!!!!!!!!!!

I would encourage your Docs to contact them directly, if they have not already done so. Also do you have Pets? Recent vetinary research has shown that pets can infact carry and reinfect humans, so worth researching, if you have pets. Then you could use the vetinary antiseptic wash on them.

Once again I feel for you and hope that, the powers at B, will come up with some help soon for you and your little ones.Thank you for sharing your heartfelt situation and advice. Is there any home help you could be entitled too, it seems to me that, they should be doing more to relieve your situation, with the laundry and the constant cleaning. My thoughts are with you.

Best Wishes,Luv Winnie.xxxx
