cheleinkal by cheleinkal Young Parent(August 2006) (rank 16th)
Snow Globes
You Will Need
Small jar with lid (baby food jars are perfect)
Small plastic toy or figurine
Gold or Silver glitter
Corn syrup (bought in supermarkets in the health food section)
Strong- hold waterproof glue (clear craft glue works)

Glue the toy to the
middle underneath side of the jar lid. Allow the glue to dry completely.
(Check the glue instructions it will let you know how long you need to leave it.)
Fill the jar with corn syrup leaving a 2.5to 3 cm gap at the top, add glitter.  Replace the lid tightly seal with tape or a strong glue and shake to make it snow

Thanks,
I was writing a book, but realised there are soooooo many "fun kids" type books out there that it probably won't go anywhere, so I may as well share all these things with my new friends. :-)

Some are ,y own ideas some are old idea's I have re-vamped (like the play dough), all of them are tried and tested from when I was a working Nanny, so I only use the ideas that got a great response from the kids I worked with, that was also great for acurately judging the start age for each idea.

I'm glad you like them.......................I have heaps of them, I might start doing one a day though.

Cheers and have fun
Chele

Why don't you start up a new group? I think that we should have a children's craft group and also a children's games one. I reckon you would be able to fill the pages quite nicely! And why not write a book, too. I think it would do quite well. It could be the first in the range of Minti manuals...

Hey, don't give up the idea of writing a book!  Despite the fact that there are many out there, some people will only want the information presented the way you do.  I say go for it!
