My Advice:

Ok This is my advice try painting and if you enjoy it you could get your 2 year old to do some finger painting while you are painting this way you can watch her while doing something you may enjoy. If this isnt an option you could try going for needlework classes, a lot of needle working stores do these and only takes an hour out of your day each week or so. Maybe going out to play group meet other mums, maybe have a rotation of baby sitters, like 1 day say most of you organise a day out and have one look after the kids, or just meet for coffee at a cafe or something. You could also get the hubbys together maybe a saturday morning organise to go out for brekky this way you get to know other mums and the other halfs can meet other dad's.

Even if you don't like the mums at playgroup you could just keep trying others til you find one you like. If you have family around you might like to try organising a family bbq at a park, or at a local swimming pool. This way you also get help to look after your children without leaving your n/b for 2 hours or more. This would be fun especially if there is other kids in the family, for this however I would make sure to get a swimsuit for your 2 year old with floating devices in it.

Do you like reading ?? because you could always join a bookclub and if you can get a night time one, this would allow you to bring your n/b along and give you adult time, and hubby can have your 2 year old for a few hours.

Hope this gives you a few ideas.

Cheers Queenie
