Routine for babies

toddlers2008 by toddlers2008 Crawling(October 2008) (rank 500+)

When we had our first child Charlotte who is now 2 1/2 years old, the minute she was born, she had got her slef into a routine that turned the other way round, which ment that she sleept during the day and was awake at night. I am  sure many of

us have experenced this at lest once. The Probblem with Charlotte affected everything including my realtionship with my partner.  We had to seek help to find out what we could change and what advice we needed to cope. We had alot of help with Charlotte  and things started to inprove. We found that breaking down the sleeping and putting playtime into it worked for us. So this is how it worked for us.

Charlotte would have 1 to two hours sleep maxiumm, woke up and would have nappy change, feed, playtime for at least 1 hour, then would have top up feed, then off to bed.

Still to this day, Charlotte is only allowed up to two hours sleep beacuse of the trouble we had with her at the start.

I know every child is different, but why not see if it will work for you. It may really save things for you.

It taught us alot and we put the work we were shown on our two boys who are younger than charlotte and it's worked.

I recommend this and you may get some much needed sleep at night.
