normal is considered anything up to 12 months.  If you consider the precise timing involved, the delicate nature of the dividing cells that will make a baby and the other factors required to start a pregnancy, its a miracle it happens at all, let alone within 3 weeks.

Any time you stop a form of birth control it is possible to become pregnant but then it can also take months and sometimes longer to get pregnant good luck

 I was not on any bc method before trying for a babe, and it took my husband and myself 6 months to conceive. It was so tough, finding my period month after month. I thought we would get pregnant right away. I read a lot, and tweeked our lifestyle. My husband even switched from his boxer briefs to boxers! As well as keeping his laptop off of his lap-this heats and kills the sperm.. Cut caffeine, cut stress(ha), and know your ovulation signs-this is key! Happy babymaking!

It can take up 6 to 12 mths to get pregnant. Take a pregnancy multi vitamin tablet, avoid alcohol, ciggerettes and caffiene for a healthy pregnancy, gentle exercise and lower your stress levels. Don't be impatience it will happen when it happens. It's only been 3wks. Just have fun don't make sex just about getting pregnant.

I have never had the impanon in my arm but i was on the pill for a long time before we decided to have kids. When i went off the pill we tried for 4 months before i fell pregnant with my son. When i had my son we decided that i would not go back on the pill until we had finished our family and i got pregnant straight away when we started trying again.

Everyone is different but i think 3 weeks of trying isn't that long really. Just give your body a chance to get back to normal before you start to worry

try googling some information about ovulation and learning about your body so that you know the fertile times of the month.

It can take up to 12 months to fall pregnant

However if you learn to tell when your body ovulates you will be able to increase your chances of falling pregnant each month by ensuring you have sex around ovulation time.

if you are not ovulating you will not fall pregnant .

Perhaps I need to see if there is an advice piece on this !
