Re: warts

Sticky tape, plaster tape or other types of tape stuck over the wart will fix it, it starves it of oxygen. There is a product you can get that freezes the wart but in children you have to do it a couple of times as you cant give them the full hit 1st go round.

Re: warts

As silly as this sounds... My mother brought my sisters for 20 cents...  They left my sister but my mum was out 20 cents she never got the warts.. :) They must have got lost on the way...

I don't know why, it is some old wives tale on this occasion worked.. :)

Re: warts

I remember having a wart on my hand when i was young, and my dad put a piece of electrical tape (the black kind) and it disappeared.

I don't know if it was the tape, or it went away on it's own, but I guess it could be worth a try?

Re: warts

As a youth, I had warts on my knees. I had a few burned off because they often bled when I knelt down.

My doctor advised me that I would outgrow them and not to be too concerned about them. As long as I didn't pick them (because some types of warts can be spread when you pick them and they bleed....because of their viral nature). If any warts bothered me, like the ones I had on my knees, I could have them removed.

By the time I turned 14, the warts had totally disappeared!

Re: warts

It may go away after a while but they can spread my son had them really bad for a couple of years and actually had them removed at the doctors by having them burnt off but I don't recommend this as they returned and we put him through all that pain for nothing but he was very embarresed about them at the time and he just wanted them removed. Warts are caused by a virus and some people don't have them for as long as others. We used a over the counter treatment for the warts in the end and it worked finally but we also used this at the start and it didn't work so it's a bit hit and miss. Wart off was the name of the product that worked for us but their are all different types you can buy.

Re: warts
When I was young I had a small one on my finger, it went away in year 7 and I haven't had any since. My brother and sister on the other hand went thru a stage of having some yucky ones on there hands and other places (cant remember where) and they had them burnt/iced off (whatever they do) and theres came back and it took a while till they finally stopped. So I guess that didn't help much hehe, I guess what Im saying is if she doesn't like it then you can go to the dr but if its small and not a problem, then it didn't kill me to leave it lol.
