Pap Smears

Had my annual pap smear yesterday the nurse said it was difficult as my uterus is facing the wrong way can someone tell me how and what the consequences of this are

If its a Retroverted uterus, I have the same problem. When I went for my 6 week check up after giving birth to my son the nurse told me it had gone retroverted, pregnancy being the cause in my case. It can also be casued by endometrosis or you could have just been born that way.

The main issue I have with it is some intercourse positions hurt and its also know to cause more period pain.
