Conjunctivitis

Hi all,
Just wondering does anyone know of a natural remedy to treat/ease conjunctivitis? My daughter had it about 3 months ago and now all of a sudden its returned. Problem is, there at no doctors on over the weekend and if i go to the hospital we will be sitting up there for hours. So was hoping someone would know a way to help me ease it??? She isn't in pain, its just her eyes are red and swollen!
Any advice would be great!
Regards
Brenna

Re: Conjunctivitis

go to a pharmacy and see what they can reccomend sometimes over the counter medication is all they need. The only other natural way is to wipe around the eye area with a salt and water mixture but wipe away from the eye just to keep it as clean as you can until you see the gp.

Re: Conjunctivitis

There are drops you can get at the chemist.  They're over the counter, so go in and have a chat to the pharamist.  They will be able to tell you if they are suitable or not.  My son has had it and thats all he got for it as he wasn't really bad.

Wish you the best.

This is what I was going to respond with - I've also been told salt but have never been game enough to try it.
