the gender of the baby will be unknown until the 20-22 week scan thats the earliest the gender can be detected/ determed

I think the community can make a guess, but it would be purely a guess. When did you get your scan? Even at around 12 weeks, it's still too early to make out the gender. At around 20 weeks, when doctors order a more detailed , very complete scan, sex can be determined - unless baby decides not to cooperate, of course.  

 If you have had a scan done, I'm sure your  doctor will be able to tell you, what you want to know.
