I had already done that in my private email when I recieved it .  Yes it was very frustrating and I understand that you need to advertise  to earn revenue to keep the site going but why should we recieve in our private emails that really has nothing to do with Minti. The advertising itself is O.K. sort off but not when it affects your personal emails as mine goes automatically to my address book 

This still has not stopped me from useing this site although annoying Thanks Clay

It is sent to the email address you have signed up with to Minti.

Sorry that your private email program automatically adds from addresses to your address book... never heard of that before.

Again: Glad to hear you have unsubscribed, you will not be bothered again.

What a very simple and obvious solution Clay! :-)

 I should also add - by unsubscribing to the promo emails, it will NOT effect your other Minti mails.

Clay I just went to my minti mail section and I had not ticked the box to recieve these emails so does this still pose the question why did I recieve??

Vicki - thanks for pointing that out. You have actually uncovered a bug.

It is actually default ticked when people sign up to Minti. Even though visually neither is selected, it is actually selected as Yes in the database when people sign up. I will get the tech guys to fix the bug so that people can see that they are in fact subscribed to these 'promo mailings'. 

If you select "no" and then save, you will definitely be unsubscribed from these types of mailings in the future.

It is stated in your personal details by your e-mail address that Minti wont spam you, but it seems that Market United, who bring us minti, can spam all they want,sheesh. Wording I suppose is everything !
