Just be careful with sultanas, they are high in sugar and are the main cause of tooth decay in young children! I know a few children that have had to have dental surgery because of sultanas!

Try using olive oil when you cook and encourage him to eat more meat. Nikki is really thin and we are always at her to eat more. She is really fussy because she has anaphylatic allergies which also causes her thinness. We have the rule..... eat all your meat! If we would let her she would eat veggies only!

As she is allergic to peanuts we can't give her peanut butter which really helps in weight gain in kids. Just remember peanut products should never be given to a child under 3 yrs old according to experts. I happen to agree!

Tuna mornays and fish are other good products to give kids. Mornay bases help in weight gain and meat based meals such as spaghetti bolognase. Best thing with those is you can grate veggies in them and the kids never know! Zuchini, carrot even pumpkin is really nice in it! Jerry seinfleds wife, Jessica I think her name is wrote a book called deceptively delicous which has great recipes that are completely healthy for kids.

I hope this helps!

Cheers Raven

My 2 year old eats what we eat, If he doesn't like it then basically too bad.  He is a good eater tho.

Get on to google and google recipes for something like apple muffins, these are a good morning or afternoon snack. Saltunas and lots of fruit. are also good.

Lunch time I usually give a sandwich, ham and cheese, or small tin of good tuna and toast.  Always fruit or maybe yoghurt for afters.

Dinner  is usually what we have whether is be curry and rice, or chops and 3 vegies.  or spagetti

As long as it is healthy, low in sugar and kilojuies (sp) and also lots of water rather than juices and fizzy drinks then he should be fine.   If he is hungry then give some thing healthy to eat but not right b4 a main meal, or he may not eat that.   With my 2 year old I usually have a 1.5 - 2hrs gap between meals other wise I know he wont be hungry to eat a main meal.

May be try a slighty bigger meal as to what you are giving him.  He is a growing boy after all.

Hope this helps
