Re: toddlers and being pregnant

With my last pregnancy (number 4) I had two older ones in school and a toddler under 2, I felt fine most of the time during the day I guess having the two older ones in school it wasnt so bad.   But I know at night after dinner, bath an putting the kids to bed I would sit down to watch some TV and would fall asleep within minutes.

I think what the others said about checking your Iron levels would help also as I had low iron levels with ALL my pregnancies but with my last pregnancy in the last 3/4 months  I was taking floradix ( as i cant take tablets) an it did seem to give me a lil bit more energy.

If you have someone to help out or have the two lil ones in Daycare I would just get as much sleep as you can anyways

Good luck

Yep, been there done that.  My oldest two are 12 months apart.  Then there is a 2 year gap, and 3 more in 3 years.  Running around after them all is hard, and they learn very quickly that Mummy can't chase them with a beachball belly, at least that's how it went with mine.

Get a really good multi vitamin tablet, I use Elevit (also recommended for breastfeeding), to keep your natural levels topped up.  Remember to keep active when you can so that the quality of sleep you are getting is good, as the lesser the quality of the sleep, the more tired you will feel.

Good luck, and enjoy your sleep.  I'll take some of it for you if that helps lol

I was in your situation once. Have you had your iron levels checked? In my case it was anemia.

I'd imagine you could feel tired because not only are you caring for an unborn baby but running around after 2 toddlers too, in that case I would ask friends and family for a bit of extra support.

Have you had a recent blood test? It's common to have some sort of deficiency through-out pregnancy which can cause symptoms such as extreme fatigue. Low iron is a common find and can be fixed with suppliments.

With my 1st i think i slept 90% of the day in the 1st 3 months lol

And yes toddlers do wair you out and being pregnant you probly feel like you have been hit by a truck. Maybe ask your Dr what you could do to get more energy.
