Re: bottle breaking

My son is now 2 and a bit.. he slowly grew out of having his bottles except his night time one.  The more he ate the more he didn't want the bottle any more.  With the night time bottle we just changed his routine a bit.   Instead of dinner, play bath bottle bed it was dinner play milk,(in a cup) bath, stories, bed.

We changed the milk in bottle to milk in a sippy cup.  He hated it and wouldn't drink his milk.  So we took the lid off and he drank it out of a cup.  It was a big transition and boy did we have spillage.  Had to watch him like a hawk.

Basically if he wanted milk he had to have it out of a cup.  We just went cold turkey with the last bottle and gave him no choice.

Good luck, hope this helps

Re: bottle breaking

Oh also I just decreased the amount he was having and just gave him more snacks.  EG:  morning and afternoon tea.

So like i said the more he ate the less he wanted the bottle.

Re: bottle breaking

Christmas is coming up... maybe when you go do the whole santa visit thing you could talk to them first and have him swap the bottles for a present :D

ORRR

My daughter tasted my sons bottle... n now will not put it anywhere near her mouth!!

So you could start doin the sippy cup thing n put drinks that dont taste so good in the bottles
