Braxton hicks 2.

Hi, thanks for the replies i got about having braxton hicks, last night they started about 5.00 in the afternoon and got quite frequent and strong quite anoying pain, i rang hospital and was on my way in but of course it had to be the night there was flooding and couldnt get through, they eventually stopped around midnight and this morning stomach muscles were sore from pulling in all night. i thought for sure it was early labour, any ideas anyone?? why i would get them then dissapear like that? any help greatly appreciated. thanks.

The closer to the "due " date I get the worse they got. I often felt like it was labour as it would go on for hours, then I'd be sore for ages after. With my last i only went to hospital after my waters broke! They said i probably should have called an ambulance......I live like 2mins from the hospital!!!!!!!!

Thanks 4 the reply, yep bub is still moving around in there as usual, when the braxton hicks were happening so often bub was more active, im hoping its not early labour but i havent had them so frequent etc since that night and am just taking it easy.

I was just wondering, have you made sure your baby is kicking enough?

Also I think maybe you should get checked incase you started opening up and they may have to monitor you more closely to try and avoid premature labour or something, i dont know but i think it would be the safest thing to just get checked and be safe :)
