Re: diarrhea

no food with acid in it cos he will be burning later.. ie tomartos oranges grapes  and you can try 1 table sppoon of corn flour with some of his milk just to try and make it a little firm. anything with fiber is great all vegies steamed is what the doctor would  like him to be on so its easier for your little guy and he doesnt get such bad tummy cramps.... and lots of love i feel for the poor little guy..... good luck

Re: diarrhea

Your local chemist or pharmacy should sell hydrolites......a combination of vital minerals that can be drunk to replace what the body is losing. They also come as an ice block.......my kids loved them, so I had to make sure I had supermarket versions in the freezer as well. You give one every 4hrs I believe. It really picks them up.

Also Salvital is great but is full sugar so not so great for diabetics or ppl / children with insulin issue.

Cheers Raven

Re: diarrhea

Avoid dairy at all costs... I'm not sure how old your son is so you'll have to evaluate these eating recommendations: Banana, toast, crackers, fresh ginger, fiber items that will help harden up the poop
