Omg you use to play age of empiers? I love that game! hehe I use to collect the sheep but not kill them lol.

My personal belief is to do it the way it was designed, without cheating.

The whole gaming experience is to work hard at achieving the goal. If you fail, try, try and try again. Cheating will get you through the game, but the game's meaning will not be the same.

Once getting to the end point in a game, after using cheats...there is no reason to go back and do the game again. If you complete the game without cheats, you can go back and select a different difficulty level (if the game offers one) and challenge yourself further.

As a youth, I liked to cheat in games (only after not being able to finish them without cheating!), and I got really bored of the game really quickly...no challenge = no long lasting appeal. Therefore you are always spending lots of money getting the next game, cheating through it and getting bored again.

I no longer use cheats, I personally enjoy the challenge a game presents..Feels awesome to get through a game without assistance!

If you are talking about me, I wasn't singling out anyone...The question asked was if the poster should allow her child to use cheats in the facebook game...

I was replying to that...and mentioning a bit about myself and my thoughts on cheating in game, referring to how games get boring after you use cheats.., so have another read of my post and hopefully you will see that I was talking about the actual topic, and in no way singling anyone out....

In hind sight she probably did mean that.......but look at what she wrote, it does appear to be a bit of an angry dig at me.

Yes I pressed the wrong button, but there was no need to say that I was singling anyone out, I was quite stirred up about the comment, because the words I wrote showed I never intentionally tried to make an example out of anyone.......everyone makes a mistake now and then......even me!

No matter.....all good, lets go back to the topic at hand!

When you reply to the author you should reply using the "Got an answer... share it now" option. Replying to the person who first responded to the question makes you look like you're targeting members.

 I think she means that you replied to my comment insted of the question :)
