Re: Cheap gifts...
Hi there,
Buy some cheap t-shirts and small amounts of funky fabric. Get some vilesofix ( iron on stuff for applique) and some bright embroidery thread. Applique the first letter of their first name on the front of the t-shirts using blanket stitch.
For girls, pick up some pretty hair ties and clips ( the $2 shops have heaps) You can make scrunchies from scrap material and elastic.
Bargain shops have some great bits and pieces- just wrap each thing seperately and they think it's fantastic! Ideas water paints, scrap book, textas, glitter pens, sheets of stickers, a bottle of bubble bath.
For female relatives- make some bath salts ( find recipes on internet) These you can put into jars that you have recycled and top with some fabric and ribbon on the lid.
There are a stack of other body products too - grab a big tub of sorbolene and a couple of bottles of essential oils. Mix and put into pretty screw top containers for scented body lotion. Can also make massage oil- use a mix of Olive oil,, Macadamia Nut Oil, Avocado Oil ( all from supermarket) and a couple of drops of essential oil. You can piick up cheap glass bottles to put it into from $2 shops add a homemade tag or label attached with raffia or ribbon.
Hope these help!
