Morning Sickness..

its usually caused by a drop in blood sugar levels, its really helpful as someone already suggested to eat something before you even get up, or even a glass of cordial next to the bed.

make sure you try to have breakfast even if you dont feel like it, ginger is great and vitamin b6 also helps, homeopathic nux vomica worked well for me as well.

Sea Bands
I had horrible morning sickness for the first three months of my pregnancy - throwing up multiple times throughout the day. I tried just about everything and found that sea bands worked the best. Sea bands are these wrist bands with little beads sewn in that press down on some acupressure points in your wrist. They are used for sea sickness, but they helped me out a lot.

Good luck with it! It does get better!

Morning Sickness
As one person has already suggested, ginger is a good remedy.  I agree.  I used to drink ginger beer(bundaberg brand)  I never used to like it before I was pregnant, but it certainly helped and I grew accustomed to the taste.

Morning sickness
Hi MotherToBe,

I had chronic morning sickness with both of my pregnancies. Not so much throwing up, but a constant queasy feeling. I found the best thing was to always have some dry crackers handy at all times (Saltines or Premiums were good) and had some in my handbag, in my desk at work, by my bedside table - everywhere! If you eat a couple before you get out of bed in the morning, that might help settle your stomach. Good luck!

Some tips

Also
ginger tablets (natural) that are used for travel sickness really help.. avoiding heavy foods if it doesn't agree with you. Hydrate with water. Sometimes you have high levels of pregnancy hormone, so the only option then is to manage the sickness. Ginger tablets seem to be the most effective.
