drops
We used gas drops to help with gas problems. We used Mylicon drops or a generic equivalent. Also, moving his legs like a bicycle seemed to move things as well.

Sorry, I forgot about the difference between countries. I think I was proud of the fact that I figured out that wind was gas! I like saying wind better.

I also know that my friend's child was also fussy and the drops didn't help. She had to drop dairy from her diet (she breastfed) and it helped a lot.

Mylicon
I also used mylicon with my son when he has gas problems. This is a product common here in the U.S. The main ingredient is semithicone. If you go look around your pharmacy, look for this ingredient if you can find it. It really works well and can be used as often as needed.

Quick trick.
My daughter suffered terribly from bad wind pains until my aunt showed me a great trick ( the problem here is that she held Amy and showed me so I will do my best to explain what she did) She held Amy wih her head on her shoulder like you might do to wind a baby normally so she was chest to chest with her then she massaged Amy at the bottom of her ribs, at the side ,you will be able to feel that it is hard there when baby has wind but after baby has burped it will feel soft. like I said it is hard to explain, if you  put your hand on your hips then take your hands up to just below where your ribs end thats the spot to massage on baby. You will have to do it on both sides but this trick helped us and got us our first full nights sleep in 3 months!

Re Quick trick.

Thanks for the tip I'll be sure to try it, the poor fellows squeals and shrieks almost make me cry. I'm pretty sure I know the spot you're talking about, I'm sure it'll be easy to tell if I've done it right! No two babies are the same thats for sure!
