Check out a site called Limewire.  It's free and has more songs than you can poke a stick at.  I myself have 2 cd's of great Aussie songs, if you want to organise something I can burn and send you copies.

Staff are usually happy to help you find things at your local library.  As far as books go, I reccomend "Whoever You Are" by Mem Fox (an Aussie). 

For music, I recommend Raffi.  We listened to him as kids, and I enjoy his new albums as well.  He sings in different languages and his themes include a healthy environment, "global" stories, getting along etc...  He's really great.  Smart and interesting while being fun and silly too.

 

There is a song about a rabbit being shot(!) Rapeti. It is a maori song and I am sure it is popular in NZ. Even my mum learnt it and she is Aussie. Not sure of the words though.

My son and his father are taking Kindermusik classes and Kookaburra is one of the songs in their class. As for cultures, I'm not sure. Have you done any searches on iTunes?
