My 19 month old has the color of whatever he has eaten the day before.  If there were no green beans, peas or other similar colored foods recently, then you might want to call your baby's health care provider if it would make you feel better.

till now, my son has been doing 2 colors pooh pooh .. green or yellow, depending on what he eats. however, what i concern is whether pooh pooh is solid or runny. if it's runny more than 3-4 times a day and he's getting sick, I'll take him to see doctor. if you're really worried about the color, suggest you to keep noticing for a few days before asking an advise from doctor.

It could be that he has a virus that has made his gut a bit irritable. A light green stool usually indicates lactose intolerance and dark green stools usually indicates lack of protein absorbtion. I would highly recommend treatment of probiotics. If his symptoms persists, I would be seeing a doctor. I hope this helps.

Mine been doing that and she only 7 weeks old saw the doctor today as she had a few other problems too and it looks like shes lactose intolerant but if your little one is 18 mnth old and is on solids i would say its probably nothing to worry about

Oh, gosh ! My stay at home mom day consists of what color and what kind of poo came out of Jacob today ? .... hahahhaha!

If he has corn, well whole corn is in his poop  !

Bananas ? Yellow poo

Meat ? dark poo

I do not have many exciting tales to tell since I stay at home but I can tell the tale of my boy's poo ! His poo is different each and every time ... the color changes, like a rainbow !

The consistancy is more important ... too hard poo, needs more fluids ........ to runny poo, might have a sickness ...

green poo is not from martians but from green beans and peas , ..... hahhahaha.

My son had a green and yellow one for me today.. Nice one it was too... :) I took his diaper off to early and he left it on the bathroom floor..  My son is 16 months old and had cucumber and banana's today...  I think it depends on what the little kiddies eat and he has been feeling ill lately and not wanting much other then apple sauce and banana's although he did manage a bit of spaghetti today
