One of my oft-repeated mommy phrases:

"Whining gets you NOTHING."

 

I always say "its not big and its not clever " when my kids start showing off infront of there friends or one my mum used to say to me know i say it " my house my rules" thats really bad isnt it lol

It is not a surprise if you ask for one....

Do you have the money to pay for it?  (When asked if we can go to Mcdonalds.) I bite my tounge when she says yes....

 

Ha ha what a great topic! Some of my faves are: Nice manners will get you nice things (when kids dont say please)- I cant hear you if you dont say the magic word

My kids would say I am a fountain of those little sayings...

"Those that do, get rewarded, those that don't, don't" - with reference to volunteering for stuff.

"Push me too far and just remember who is the mother with all the money" - just about every second sentence.

"Because I am the mother and I said so and even jesus had to listen to his mother" - that comes between the above sentence.
