It definitely is weird but Melbourne has always had unstable weather, i like it and i don't. I lived in greece for many years and the summer season there was like 4 months of over 30 degree heat, it was unbearable. It often didn't cool down til' after midnight, so i kind of like the cool changes we get here. I do miss the white xmas thing in Europe so i guess i will like xmas this year!

Chances are we here in Vermont won't have a white one (we had about half a foot by now last year), but my sister in law in Colorado is getting pounded right now. Maybe she can send some of it our way! (ha-ha I hate it when people say that)

But more seriously, it could have something to do with global warming and shifting weather patterns. The Sun's activity has increased lately (I think we take the Sun for granted these day) and technology has increased our awareness of these patterns and events. Add to that, there are more people living on the planet who can be affected by weather extremes.

What was the weather like where you live a thousand years ago?

the weather is weird all over the planet. Us in ontario, on the 21 of december it is completely green and on saturday it is suppose to be +6 and raining. It is kind of scary sometimes because u wonder if it is not all that pollution disturbing the planet.

People don't think that there actions are causing problems with the ozone but here is your proof. The weather is becomming more and more unpredictable. and most of us are doing nothing about it. What are we leaving our children? A death sentence?
