Whats the weirdrest craving you had during pregnancy??
For the third time I am obsessed with ice. I dream about it. As soon as I get home from work I have to pour myself a glass of something and load it with ice. Then I sit there and crunch my way thru the entire glassful. Its getting to the point where I get the ice tray out of the freezer and pick out ice cubes as if they were the most wonderful chocolates...like sit there eyeing off the next one while Im crunching. I know its not the best for my teeth and I am very concious of that but it has become a standing joke in our house that I am obsessed with ice. I cant sleep unless i have chewed ice...no other cravings JUST ICE!!

Rocks...gravel actually
Yep, thats it, you read it right. I wanted to eat gravel. I went to my midwives about this turned out I had a condition known as PICA where you want to eat things that are not edible. There is often a reason for it. Mine was because I had a severe defincy in my iron stores. At first my midwife said well maybe if you take it home and wash and boil it. I told her that wasn't an option as I wanted all the dirty stone dust that was all over them. LMAO, kills me to think of this now. I used to drive by construction sites and there would be a big pile of gravel sitting there and I would want to pull over so bad and just go grab a handful. So, my midwives told me to eat ice instead...so I definately feel your pain, it didn't quite cut it but it was a pretty good substitute. I also lived on popsicles and freezies, anything made of ice. My husband kept a mallet in the house so he could wrap ice in a towel everyday for me, sometimes 4 or 5 times a day and crack it up so it was easier to eat on my teeth. Alot easier to eat small pieces. And everytime i went to a restaurant I had to order a glass of ice as well as whatever i was drinking. Sometimes the people would be like, did you want ice water, and I'd say no...just the ice would be great. I don't really have any advice for you, except to hang in there because as soon as I gave birth, the craving for rocks and ice was gone!!!
