Keeping the Dummy In

My 4 month old chews on her dummy like a piece of chewing gum and therefore it constantly flies out of her mouth.  Does anyone have advice on how to encourage a baby to suck a dummy?  She is soothed by her dummy but I have to continue going in and replacing it.

Keeping the Dummy In

first of all  is she having her dummy on a night .if not then DONT pust IT .give her some teathing gel or a cooling jel ,then try a teathing ring ,cold. as a dummy will be harder to take back in the long time. xx lou xx .

my first child now 4 years old spat out her dummy at 3 mths old , i gave it back to her and she spat it out again and out again  , again.so i said to myself she dont want it , she dont have to have to have to have it.    to this day she has not had one. ........................................alonge comes baby number 2 and the dummy has stayed ,shes now 14 mths old but she only seems to have it on a night ,so please dont pust it .

think about it if you dont want something you want have it ,this too gos for babys .louxx
