I would have loved to have done that... I had the idea and every thing.. But our wedding got pushed towards us real fast due to immigration reasons... I had two choices, marry now and stay with my husband waiting for my papers, or leave the country for two years with out the hubby and wait for my papers.. We opted for choice number one...   Anyway we ended up having the traditional wedding thanks to the in-laws who through together a wicked wedding bash with less then two months notice....

A wedding is what ever you want it to be...

My sisters wedding cost all up $4000.... She had the wedding in a chapel then off to a golf club for a cocktail party....  She said it was great ( I could not make it wish I could have though.)

It is your day, and the groom of course... Do with it what you will...

I hope it is a special one... xxxx  I have seen some beautiful dresses out there...

Hi there, I have not did this but I thought it would always be a cool thing to do!! But I do know someone who did. They had their wedding in Las Vegas and it was like midevil, it was amazing, I saw the pictures and I just couldn't believe how beautiful it looked!

If you do it that way, I would love to see pictures, as I always wanted to do something like it! GOod luck :)

Hey there, this is the perfect question for me. I am pagan and am in the process of planning my own wedding. We want to have a traditional handfasting. As of now the only thing planned is my medievel type dress. I would love to have someone to chat to and plan with, trade ideas etc. if you'd like to chat my msn is omega_star_20@hotmail.com

I did see one thing that looks wonderful for a spring or summer wedding, releasing live butterflies at the end. Oh my, I have lots of ideas lol

its your wedding. Do whatever you want. Go as crazy as you like. It is your wedding and if people don't like it they don't have to come. We got married in a rose garden and the groom and groomsmen all wore thongs with their suits. Caused a bit of a stir but hey, it's our day. All the best with your plans. Good luck and have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey there, good question fo rme. i'm starting my business in wedding planning and seen some weddings that will blow peoples mind. How about jumping out of an aeroplane!!! I love the way people can celebrate their love for each in any way they want. i just recently helped two of my friends get married with medievil times theme and it was fantastic. The found goblets and had each others name engraved on them with the date, ihelped them find presents for the guests that looked like the old scrolls with their names and dates and thanks (coffe works great to get that old look on the paper)!!! Try we also got them bamboo citronella candles out the front of their marquee. any other questions or tips ask me!!!

We did not go traditional with our wedding and we did it on a budget too....I picked a purple and yellow dress i liked and then designed one similar....I also had the boys wear a pirate type shirt that I had made too.....I was definate that my wedding was not going to be traditional.....i even made a speech at my wedding that started I know its not tradition for the bride to make a speech but I didn't wear a whilte dress I didn't say obey and I am sure not going to shut at at my own wedding hehehe.....here is a pic of me and my hubby and the two kids as I had them as page boy and flower girl

I think go with what you want.......Thats what I did.....and good luck
Cheers
Angie
