TODDLER SLEEP

Help, My son is almost two and has recently been resisiting going to bed. Calling for the parent that isn't with him and most nights crying himself to sleep. this has come as a shock as he has slept through the night since 6 weeks old. We have a good routine and the only change is that we are potty training - which is going well. Any advice or suggestions

2 yrs old is about the time when they start to test your limits and SLEEP whether it is at nap or night is usually an issue. Just make sure not to give in too much to his protests because you may set the stage for further stalling as he gets older.  Keep to the routine and just reassure him that he'll have sweet dreams but it is time for night night.  Good luck.

Any change in a child's life needs an udjustment period.  My daughter started wetting the bed and did it for about week when she moved from the jnr kindy room at daycare to the senior kindy room.  She was still with her friends, they moved up together, and she loved it, but she needed time to adjust.  Maybe just ride it out for a week or so.  Also, he is reaching the terrible 2s stage of life, good luck with that one!
