Dear friends at minti. i just wanted to say good bye for now as i wont be able to get on -line as much in the foucher.my now ex-boyfriend hit me on the 30 12 06 and i walked out with the kids coming with me.i have come back today to get more stuff n it breaks my heart to leave this home i have made for my girls ,but i have to go .

In my last relationship i was beat most weekends by a very large man n i took n took it untill the night he hit me when i was holding Tara-jade my / his child.i had to jump out of a window with her that night.i was 20 years old at the time and had been going through it for 5 years. when i meet the next man i told him i had been hart in the past an that i didnt want to be hart again. he PROMICED me he would naver hit or hart me .so after time i let him into our life. 5 1/2 years later we have a 1year old girl (x2 for me) a home a car , and i have a black eye. oh and a brocken heart again .why didnt i just stay on my own ,saying that i would naver have got my baby Isabella n i would naver be without her. i did tell him that if he ever hit me i would walk out and thats what ive done .i have to stand my ground and start again or im just setting myself up more beating.

if anyone is going through this you need to get out fast ,plan it if you have to or just get your kids n go ,things will naver get better what ever the person says .

I am so sorry to hear what you have been through... Be strong, hold your head up high, be proud of who you are today, be proud of the strength for yourself and to protect your kids. Remember one thing you do not deserve to be treated the way he treated you, you deserve to be happy. Good for you for leaving, keep your chin up, life may seem gloomy today and tomorrow but remember the sun will shine brightly for you and your kids. Be positive!!! Best of luck!!

for some time nowyou have put on a brave face to all of us at minti, all the while you were suffering in your own world and not asking for help! How very brave of you to finally take a stand and walk away! No one should be treated as you were, and thank god you got your little girls out of there before they were next! Please let all of us know ASAP that you and your kids are alright! I'm so sorry you had to go through this. Life will probably be a little rocky for a while, but you did the right thing. No one deserves to be hit, especially by someone who is supposed to be your partner in life. Good for you! You have done the right thing by your children too.

first of all congratulations on having the strenth to do what you are doing, that broken heart of your is stronger than you can imagine, not everyone can live but they stay and take it day after day after day. good luck to you and your little once. we will be here. get your self sorted first. (my cousin who I never met was killed and choped to bits by her abusive husband that turned out to be a major psicho)
